Conor is a three-times category winner at the annual Travel Extra Travel Writer of the Year Awards, as well as a three-times winner at the French Media awards.

He is also editor and founder of Ireland’s only publication specialising in all things French – Tootlafrance. He is also the author of a book on his late father – former Waterford hurling goalkeeper and skills coach Ned Power. The book is entitled “My Father: A Hurling Revolutionary”. For Further details on this, click here.
Amongst Conor’s current fiction projects, he is writing one in French for which he was awarded a two-month residency at the Villa Fontaine in Antibes, France in 2019. He is also writing the first ever work of fiction to be set during the era of professional hurling in Ireland. The book is due to be launched by Menma Books soon.
